How payments work
When you buy flowers through this network, it should be obvious who you are buying from and where the money goes. This page says so plainly, and it is generated from how the system is actually configured today rather than from an intention.
Who you are buying from
Today, card payments are processed centrally by My Florist Network on the shop's behalf, and we pass the proceeds on to the florist. The florist still sets the prices, makes the arrangement, and delivers it — but the charge on your statement comes from us.
We are moving each shop onto its own payment account so the florist becomes the seller outright. This page will say so the moment that is true for the shop you are buying from.
What we take from your order
Nothing. We add no fee to what you pay and take no commission on the sale. The price, the delivery fee, and the tax you see are the florist's own.
We make our money from the monthly subscription florists pay for the software, and from fees between florists when one shop passes an order to another. Neither of those adds anything to your bill.
What you are charged
Everything is itemised before you pay: the arrangement, any add-ons, the delivery fee, tax, and any discount. There is no line you only discover afterwards, and no surcharge appears between the checkout page and your statement.
If your order is passed to another shop
Sometimes the shop you ordered from cannot deliver to the address, and passes the order to a florist in the network who can. When that happens we email you and name the shop that will actually make and deliver it. The price does not change, and the shop you ordered from stays your point of contact.
The fee arrangements between the two shops are theirs, and are settled between them. They do not change what you pay.
Refunds and disputes
A refund goes back the way it came, to the card you paid with. Every refund, every complaint, and every decision is written into a permanent record that cannot be edited afterwards — a correction has to be added as a new entry, so nothing quietly disappears.
We check the books against the orders every night. If what was recorded and what was charged ever disagree, we want to find it ourselves rather than have you find it for us.
