Delivery Policy
Last updated July 9, 2026
My Florist Network connects customers with independent local florists who prepare and deliver fresh arrangements in their own communities. Because each florist runs their own shop, this policy explains how deliveries generally work across our marketplace so customers know what to expect when they place an order.
Delivery areas
Each florist sets the neighborhoods, cities, and ZIP codes they serve. When you shop, the available florists and delivery options are matched to the recipient's address. If an address falls outside a florist's service area, we try to route the order to another qualified local florist in our network so your order can still be fulfilled.
Same-day delivery
Many florists offer same-day delivery when an order is placed before their local cutoff time, often in the early afternoon on business days. Cutoff times vary by shop, season, and delivery area. Orders placed after the cutoff, on weekends, or on holidays may be scheduled for the next available delivery day.
Holiday delivery
Peak floral holidays such as Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, and the winter holidays bring very high order volume. During these periods, delivery windows may widen, same-day options may close early, and deliveries may occur throughout the day rather than at a specific time. We encourage ordering early during holiday weeks to give your local florist the best chance to deliver on time.
Funeral delivery
Sympathy and funeral orders are time-sensitive. Please provide the name of the funeral home or place of service, the date and time of the service, and the family or deceased's name so the florist can coordinate directly with the venue. Funeral homes often have their own schedules, so we recommend placing these orders as early as possible.
Hospital delivery
For hospital deliveries, please include the patient's full name, the facility name, and the room or unit if known. Hospitals may restrict flowers in certain units, such as intensive care, and patients may be discharged or moved. If a delivery cannot be completed at the hospital, the florist will attempt to contact the sender to arrange an alternative.
Business delivery
Deliveries to offices and other businesses are generally made during standard business hours. Please provide the company name, suite or floor, and any front-desk or reception details that will help the florist reach the recipient.
Residential delivery
For homes and apartments, please provide complete address details, including apartment or unit numbers and gate or buzzer codes when applicable. If no one is home, the florist will follow their local practice for a safe hand-off, which may include leaving the arrangement in a protected spot.
Failed delivery attempts
If a florist is unable to complete a delivery, they will typically attempt to contact the recipient or sender to arrange redelivery or pickup. Additional attempts may involve added cost depending on the florist's policy and the reason for the failed attempt.
Wrong address responsibility
Customers are responsible for providing accurate and complete delivery information. If an order cannot be delivered because the address was incorrect or incomplete, the florist may charge for redelivery to the corrected address. We ask customers to double-check every detail at checkout.
Recipient not available
Flowers are perishable, so florists generally do not wait for a recipient to return. If the recipient is unavailable, the florist will use reasonable judgment to complete the delivery safely or will follow up to reschedule.
Weather delays
Severe weather, including storms, snow, ice, and extreme heat, can delay or reschedule deliveries for the safety of drivers and the quality of the flowers. Florists will make deliveries as soon as conditions allow and will communicate significant delays when possible.
Traffic delays
Local traffic, road closures, and route conditions can affect exact delivery times. Delivery time estimates are not guaranteed to the minute, and florists work to complete each route as efficiently and safely as they can.
Florist-to-florist network delivery
Some orders are fulfilled through our florist-to-florist network, in which a florist near the recipient prepares and delivers the arrangement. In these cases, the design and value follow the order you placed, and the local fulfilling florist is responsible for preparation, delivery, and quality in their area.
Delivery confirmation
Where available, florists provide delivery confirmation once an order is completed. Confirmation details and timing vary by shop. If you have questions about the status of an order, you can contact the florist or reach us through our support channels.
Local florist responsibility
The independent local florist who accepts your order is responsible for the product, its preparation, pricing, delivery, and customer service for that order. My Florist Network provides the marketplace, secure payment processing, and support that connect you, and we help coordinate resolutions when questions or issues arise.
